I was born in Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. After high school, followed by military service, I moved to Innsbruck in Austria to learn German and enjoy the mountains and skiing at the same time. After one year abroad I started studying odontology at the University of Gothenburg, graduating in 2011. During the initial years after finishing my odontology studies I worked at Folktandvården in Gothenburg. It was an exciting and diversified period of work, encompassing a variety of treatments. Many of my patients were children and my focus was on straightening teeth and on the prevention of dental fear. During that time, I also treated a large number of mentally and physically disabled patients, specializing in how to help patients with sedatives and general anesthetic. After three years in Gothenburg, I moved to Bern in Switzerland at the beginning of 2014. I worked at one of the big central clinics, which focused on good service, long opening hours, and a large expert team. I had originally planned to stay for just one year, but I enjoyed my work and the proximity to the mountains. At the beginning of 2018 the clinic head of ZahnCity called me and invited me to become part of the ZahnCity team. The option sounded very appealing to me and so I accepted it; a good decision, which I have never regretted. At ZahnCity I enjoy working with the wider team of experienced dentists and dental assistants. We have a common goal - to offer first class dental care with first class service for our patients.
