Inman Aligner
Not happy with your smile? Not interested in having fixed metal braces and want a fast and safe treatment? Then Inman Aligner might be the perfect solution for you! Inman Aligner is a great option to treat crowded or protruded front teeth. It is fast, safe and removable. The patented Inman Aligner is a removable orthodontic appliance that is ideal as a single treatment, but can also be used to pre-align teeth before further cosmetic dentistry such as esthetic fillings or veneers.
Except from improving your smile, straightening your teeth may also benefit the long term health of your teeth and gum. Teeth continue to move throughout your life so the crowding tends to worsen over time, often making it harder to clean properly. Aligned teeth make it easier for you to keep your teeth and gum in a good condition.
How does it work? The Inman Aligner has two metal coils that push two aligner bows towards each other, gently guiding the teeth into their new position. For most patients the treatment is completed within 3-6 months and in some cases even faster!
What is the procedure? Make an appointment for consultation with our Inman Aligner certified dentist Alexander Johansson and he will determine if Inman Aligner is suitable for you. He will give you a realistic guide of what to expect and an approximate treatment time. If you and your dentist find Inman Aligner as a good option, dental impressions are made of your upper and lower teeth together with an index that shows how you bite together. The Impressions are sent to our dental lab that will fabricate your custom made Inman Aligner. Two weeks after the impressions are made you will have your initial fitting of the aligner. You will have to wear the aligner 16-20 hours per day and come back to your dentist for regular Inman Aligner check up every 3-4 weeks. As after all orthodontic treatment you will have to use a retainer after the treatment is completed, to prevent the teeth to moving back into their old positions. The retainer is either a thin fixed metal wire bonded to the inside of your front teeth or a plastic aligner that you use during night.
